Warranty Overview

Bio Ligence Co., Ltd. ("Hype") provides a comprehensive limited hardware warranty for Hype smart devices, including the Hype Ring and Hype Scale, purchased directly from hype.bio.co.th or authorized retailers. We stand behind our engineering with local support and rapid turnaround in Thailand.

Standard 1-Year Hardware Warranty

Every new Hype device includes 1 year of standard hardware warranty coverage starting from the date of delivery. This coverage includes:

Manufacturing defects: Defects in materials or workmanship under normal consumer use.

Hardware & sensor failure: Optical PPG, temperature sensors, accelerometer, or BLE radio malfunctions.

Battery performance: Battery capacity degradation falling below 80% of original rating during the 1-year period.

Free replacement or repair: Complimentary repair or replacement with expedited turnaround by our Thailand team.

Exclusions & Limitations

The standard warranty does not cover issues resulting from:

Normal wear & tear: Cosmetic scratches, dents, or natural surface wear that does not affect device functionality.

Accidental damage: Crushed rings, drops beyond rated specifications, or liquid ingress exceeding 5ATM/IP68 limits (unless covered by Hype Care+).

Unauthorized repair: Devices modified, opened, or repaired by unauthorized third-party services.

Misuse or abuse: Operation outside recommended operating conditions or use of non-certified charging accessories.

Hype Care+ Extended Protection

For ultimate peace of mind, customers can add Hype Care+ (฿1,490) within 30 days of purchase to extend hardware warranty to 2 years, add accidental damage protection, and receive priority queue dispatch.

Hype Care+ covers up to 2 accidental damage incidents per plan year with a nominal service deductible.

How to Claim Warranty

Filing a warranty claim is straightforward and handled by our Bangkok support team:

1. Contact Support: Email [email protected] or open a ticket through the Hype Health App with your serial number or order confirmation.

2. Diagnostic & Verification: Our technical team will review diagnostic telemetry or request a brief video verification.

3. Return & Replacement: If approved, we provide a pre-paid courier pickup from your address and ship a replacement unit within 3-5 business days.

Consumer Law & Governing Law

This warranty is governed by the laws of Thailand and operates in addition to, not in place of, statutory consumer protection rights under Thai consumer protection legislation.
